Geoffrey and Sabrina with their kids, Benedetta and Godfrey

Hi, neighbor. Thanks for saying hello at the door.

We’re Geoffrey and Sabrina, and we’ve lived beside Minnewashta Park for a few years now with Benedetta and our newest addition, Godfrey.

How the pumpkins got here

They started at Degler Farm in Chanhassen. I brought them home, and Benedetta and our neighbor Rex sprayed every one of them down with the hose. Then on October 23 I took them around the lake, one porch at a time.

Why we live here

Before we had children, Sabrina and I were living in a condo in Edina. Then we walked this lot. Sandhill cranes lifted off and flew right over us, and I asked Sabrina the only question that mattered: do you want to raise our children here? She said yes. We decided to buy the place within twenty minutes of standing on that ground.

Now the kids sled the same hills every winter, we walk to the beach in summer, and most nights we still hear the coyotes.

Full honesty: I’m a real estate agent. I’ve been doing this for 14+ years and have helped more than 360 families, and most of them came through someone who knew them. So if you, or anyone you know, is ever thinking about moving, we’d be grateful if you’d let us know.

Only so we can say thank you.

And if not? Just enjoy the pumpkin.
